About the Journal

Sapiens Biotech International Journal (SBIJ) is a journal founded in 2024, dedicated to the dissemination of scientific research in the fields of biotechnology, genetics, and biomedicine. Its mission is to foster the participation of national and international researchers who contribute to the expansion of knowledge in these areas. SBIJ adopts an open-access model, ensuring that all its content is freely accessible without restrictions, and adheres to the recommendations established in the "Guidelines for Good Practices for Journal Editors" issued by specialized organizations.

This interdisciplinary scientific publication promotes the exchange of diverse approaches, enabling a wide range of topics to be addressed within its areas of interest. It imposes no restrictions regarding the academic level or institutional affiliation of authors, thus ensuring an inclusive and diverse space for the dissemination of knowledge. Its fundamental objective is to advance science through the publication of original, high-impact research.

Currently, SBIJ accepts original research articles and systematic reviews, which undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Manuscripts may be submitted in English or Spanish, in accordance with the established editorial guidelines. Accepted papers are published monthly under the Sapiens Ediciones imprint.
